John and I had talked about getting out to do some real climbing.  Like any red-blooded American, I thought that doing Liberty Bell on the Fourth of July would be a great way to be obnoxiously patriotic and accomplish a great climb simultaneously.  This was a significant climb for me, as it was my first route route originally climbed by the legendary Fred Beckey.
